Qatar Foundation International (QFI), in partnership with the University of Texas at Austin and Global Exploration for Educators Organization (GEEO), is offering a fully-funded cultural immersion trip to Qatar and Oman for up to sixteen (16) K-12 educators in spring 2019. Study group participants will visit Doha and Muscat; explore museums and cultural sites; connect with local teachers; and experience different ecosystems and natural landscapes. QFI and UT cultural experts will facilitate evening group discussions and curriculum connections. Applicants must be current K-12 teachers in a public or public charter school, and demonstrate the intention to integrate Middle East/Arab world topics into their classroom instruction.
