USHMM Bringing The Lessons Home Program

The US Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Bringing the Lessons Home Program introduces DC area public high school students to Holocaust history and enables them to bring the lessons of this history to their family, friends, and community. Students selected for this free program study about the Holocaust in Saturday classes, both in person and virtually, learn to serve as a tour guide for the Museum’s permanent exhibit, and earn up to 60 hours of community service. Those who complete the program are eligible to participate in the Stephen Tyrone Johns Summer Youth Leadership Program. Students in 9th through 12th grade may apply.
