The Global Learning Fellowship provides 12 months of professional development opportunities to support teachers as they cultivate global competence skills and build global lesson plans that are shared with educators around the world. The program includes online coursework on globalizing classroom instruction; webinars; a fellows ning site; a fall 2017 PD workshop; and a 9-day international field experience (expected to be South Africa) in summer 2018. Applicants must be active NEA members who are current K-12 classroom teachers (preference for teachers with more than 5 years experience). This is a fully funded opportunity.
