The Georgetown University Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS) announces this free professional development workshop on teaching regional and global studies for teachers, curriculum specialists, and interested interdisciplinary educators. Experts from GU’s School of Foreign Service Centers for Asian, Middle Eastern, African and Latin American Studies will explore teaching approaches, important issues in each region, and useful resources for survey courses. Teachers will have the chance to network with colleagues and Georgetown faculty. Lunch will be provided.
