Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Short-Term Program

Program Dates: Various dates from spring to fall 2017 (mostly summer)

The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program offers a fully funded Short-Term Program for K-12 US teachers and other educators (media specialists/librarians, counselors, curriculum specialists) to engage in 2-6 week collaborative projects abroad. Participants may travel to Botswana, Colombia, India, Mexico, the Palestinian Territories, South Korea, or Vietnam, where they consult and support projects in schools, nonprofits, and other educational institutions. Program dates and projects vary by country. Eligible applicants must be US citizens, with a master’s degree (or enrolled in a master’s program). This program is funded by the Department of State and administered by IIE.
